Kankakee With Kids is a community platform that provides information about family-friendly activities, events, youth athletics, classes, camps, childcare providers, and other resources in Kankakee County and surrounding areas. We collect, curate, and display information to help families discover and participate in local opportunities.

3. User Accounts and Registration

You may be required to create an account to access certain features of the Platform. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

3.2 Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

3.3 Account Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use interactive features of the Platform.

4. User-Generated Content

4.1 Content Submission

Certain users may be granted permission to submit content, including but not limited to:

• Event information
• Organization details
• Athletics, classes, and camp information
• Updates to existing listings

4.2 Content Standards

All submitted content must:

• Be accurate and truthful to the best of your knowledge

• Not violate any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights

5. Organization Management

5.1 Organization Claims

Users may claim organizations listed on the Platform to manage their information. We reserve the right to verify claims and require documentation of authority to represent an organization.

5.2 Organization Responsibilities

Users managing organization profiles agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date information
• Promptly update information when changes occur
• Only submit information they are authorized to share
• Ensure all information complies with these Terms and Conditions

6.1 Information Accuracy

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure the accuracy of information on the Platform, we do not guarantee the completeness, accuracy, or timeliness of any content. Information about events, schedules, pricing, and other details may change without notice.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, KANKAKEE WITH KIDS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

8. Intellectual Property

8.1 Platform Content

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Kankakee With Kids or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.

8.2 User Content License

By submitting content to the Platform, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and display such content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our practices regarding the collection and use of your information.

10. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the Platform

• We may contact event organizers directly regarding contributed events

12. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violation of these Terms and Conditions.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. We will notify users of material changes by posting the updated terms on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after such changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Kankakee With Kids, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

15. Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended to provide information about children's activities but is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Parents and guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's use of the Platform.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that these Terms and Conditions shall otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Kankakee With Kids regarding use of the Platform.
