Speed, power, and quick direction changes: quick V-starts, backward one-foot glides, forward and backward crossover glides, full crossovers, and hockey stops in both directions, preparing skaters for faster-paced practices and games. Prerequisite: Hockey 3. Full hockey equipment is required. Hockey skills are taught without a puck so skaters can focus on skating technique. Skaters must hold a 2026-2027 Learn to Skate USA membership (learntoskateusa.com).
