Pick up speed and skate with more power: stronger forward strides, alternating arm movement, one-foot pushes and glides, forward and backward C-cuts, backward skating, and moving snowplow stops. Prerequisite: Hockey 1. Full hockey equipment is required. Hockey skills are taught without a puck so skaters can focus on skating technique. Skaters must hold a 2026-2027 Learn to Skate USA membership (learntoskateusa.com).
