Meet & Make Social: Intro to Sewing

Little Me Studio is excited to host an Introduction to Sewing workshop led by Ana of TTS Sew Social.

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for anyone brand new to sewing or in need of a refresher. During this hands-on session, you will learn the foundational skills needed to use your sewing machine, including:

• How to wind a bobbin and properly thread your machine
• Sewing a straight stitch and zigzag stitch - and when to use each
• Adjusting stitch width, stitch length, and tension
• Using backstitch and pivoting your fabric with the needle down
• Exploring the unique functions of your specific machine

Ana will also bring helpful sewing notions (those handy tools that make sewing easier and more enjoyable).

Please note: A sewing machine is required for this workshop. Participants are encouraged to bring their own machine. If you do not have one, we will have 5 sewing machines available to rent for the evening. To reserve one, you must select the “Reserve Sewing Machine” add-on at checkout ($10). Rental machines are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you plan to bring your own sewing machine, please email Ana at atristan100@icloud.com with the make and model of your machine in advance so she can review its features before class. Be sure to include the date and time (April 13, 6–8 PM) in your message to help streamline preparation.
