Free Swim + Free Concert @ Splash Valley Aquatic Park featuring Tropixplosion

Get ready for an island party at Splash Valley Aquatic Park! KVPD’s Summer Concert Series is bringing Tropixplosion to the pool for a FREE night of tropical tunes, poolside vibes, and summer fun on Saturday, July 18 from 7:00 to 9:30 pm.

Come early, cool off, and stay for the show! Guests can enjoy FREE swim admission from 5:00 to 6:30 pm before the concert begins. Once swim time wraps up, grab your lawn chair, find a spot, and get ready for a summer concert that feels like a mini tropical getaway right here in Kankakee.

Tropixplosion brings the feel of the tropics to the stage with a high-energy mix of calypso, soca, reggae, Brazilian, Latin, tropical rock, pop favorites, classic rock, and refreshing original music. More than a traditional steel drum band, Tropixplosion takes familiar songs and gives them an island-style twist, creating an upbeat sound that is perfect for all ages.

Food and drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening.

Please note: Swimming will only be available until 6:30 pm. Splash Valley Aquatic Park will not be open for swimming during the concert.
